摘要: Saliva is antibacterial via secretory IgA, lactoferrin, salivary peroxidase, and lysozymes. Necrotizing sialometaplasia commonly mistaken as malignancy histopathologically (pseudoepitheliomatous hyperplasia) resolves without intervention. The tubular form for adenoid cystic carcinoma has the best prognosis solid worst prognosis.
