摘要: The 3Rs--replacement, reduction, and refinement--can be applied to any animal experiment by researchers other bodies seeking conduct those studies in as humane a manner possible. Key the success of this endeavor is an appreciation principles good experimental design analysis; these need considered concert before data collected. Indeed, many central helping achieve objectives 3Rs-such conducting valid, reliable, efficient experiments; clearly transparently reporting findings; ensuring that understanding welfare plays role laboratory practice-are betterment research per se.
