Official status and the swiftness of criminal arrest: A Chinese case of the impact of social position on criminal justice

摘要: Building upon the conflict paradigm, present study examines impact of official status on swiftness criminal arrest in China and derives two major hypotheses from Chinese culture system: first, an individual's has a negative effect by police, second, own friends’ statuses have interactive police. Data collected Tianjin, large city China, were used to test these hypotheses. The results support Implications findings are discussed.
