摘要: Ten unusual cases of parotid tumors are added to the literature from a series 318 consecutive parotidectomies. These 10 are: 3 branchial cleft cysts; lipoma; lymphangioma; hemangiopericytoma; Boeck sarcoid; metastasizing basal cell carcinoma; lymphoma parotid; and metastatic adenocarcinoma left breast right parotid. The lymphoma, Case 1, is also an example some other cranial nerve taking over function facial when it destroyed in early childhood. Though most gland mixed type, many suprising findings possible. pathology report may be first clue hidden systemic disease.
