摘要: We present a 5-year prospective study of the epidemiology 1,027 proximal humeral fractures. These fractures, which tend to occur in fit elderly persons, have unipolar age distribution and highest age-specific incidence occurs women between 80 89 years age. The commonest was B1.1 impacted valgus fracture, found one-fifth cases this series, type that is not included Neer classification. used both AO classifications. classification proved be more comprehensive because classification, half fractures are minimally displaced almost nine-tenths fall into only three categories. In B1.1, A2.2, A3.2 A1.2 sub-groups comprise over all while C 6%. suggest literature does adequately reflect spectrum
