Evolutionary history of the genus Capra (Mammalia, Artiodactyla): discordance between mitochondrial DNA and Y-chromosome phylogenies.

摘要: The systematics of the genus Capra remain controversial in spite studies conducted using morphology, mtDNA, and allozymes. Here, we assess evolutionary history (i) phylogenetic analysis two nuclear genes located on Y-chromosome (ii) previously published new cytochrome b sequences. For phylogeny, sequenced segments from amelogenin (AMELY) zinc finger (ZFY) all eight wild taxa domestic goats (Capra hircus).
