摘要: The zero point of charge (ZPC) calcite was investigated by measuring the streaming potential, solution equilibrium, and flotation response as a function pH. ZPC shown to lie within range pH 8 9.5. Thermodynamic calculation equilibrium suggests that potential-determining ions are Ca++, HCO3−, CO3−, H+, OH−. Mechanisms development at calcite-water interface discussed. preferential hydrolysis surface or adsorption, interface, complexes formed in appears play an important part establishing charge. Solutions with initial near isoelectric showed change zeta potential initially one direction later opposite direction, suggesting combination fast slow reactions is responsible for interface.
