Comparing commitment to service quality among academic staffs’ in private and public Malaysian universities

摘要: This paper discussed the disparity on state of commitment to service quality among academic staff in public and private Malaysian Universities. It has been argued that excellent performance is one key factors building niche having competitive edge separates from its competitors nationally globally.Total usable questionnaires were 387 with a response rate 36 percent both universities.The results revealed universities at higher than their counterparts universities. study implies policy makers leaders university types should consider enhancing quality as mission through ranking as number priority commitment.Future alternative modes enquires such employing longitudinal method data collection design nationwide survey covering samples whole population institutions learning Malaysia would be more significant making generalizations.
