摘要: In these days of rapid change, many organizations find that their current balance between using agile and disciplined methods is not what it should be. (We realize “disciplined” the opposite “agile,” but our working label here for relying more on explicit documented knowledge than tacit interpersonal knowledge). a forthcoming book [1], we have analyzed organizations’ experiences with methods, elaborated previous characterization [2] “home grounds” in which been most successful. This analysis has enabled us to determine five critical decision factors projects can use whether they are either or home grounds, somewhere between. These size, criticality, personnel, dynamism, culture. this paper, set context by characterizing grounds. We then define rating scales; provide stepwise approach assessing your organization’s project’s location space developing strategy rebalancing its agility discipline; illustrate representative organizational example.
