摘要: Nanoscale dispersions of intermetallic Ti2Ni particles in an ordered TiNi matrix have been produced by rapid solidification processing near equiatomic alloys containing small amount Si utilising the principle kinetic competition undercooled liquid, A detailed characterisation microstructures obtained different conditions was carried out to establish trend refinement scale microstructure. The observed microstructural are rationalised terms a metastable phase diagram and Uhlmann, Chalmers Jackson theory trapping second moving interface.
