Trends in dental caries: Australian adolescents

摘要: An investigation of trends in dental caries the Australian adolescent population was possible through development a predictive model for severity. Past associations predictor variables with severity were separated out from wide range ad hoc surveys, clinical trials, and analyses service records. National identified then used to predict past future population. Caries marginally decreased between 1965 1970. Over period 1970 1980 markedly decreased. predicted continue decrease over 1990, but evidence plateauing younger adolescents by 1990. Marked increases percentages caries-free 1975 1990 also predicted. The predictions appeared be tracking adequately subsequently available data.
