摘要: In a previous paper [ibid., vol. 72, pt. III, June 1953, pp. 562-71], the authors presented results of study performance two interconnected steam-electric power-generating areas as affected by frequency and tie-line power controllers. The present extends this to include hydroelectric generating well. As before, object is determine theoretically best values controller gains, that is, find those settings will result in over-all system performance. principal criterion good also minimizing any oscillations or resulting from load disturbances either area. Thus, stability, rather than rapidity response, preferred, since actually continually being disturbed small more less random changes load, step change used test disturbance study.
