Removal of fine particles from water by dispersed air flotation: effects of bubble size and particle size on collection efficiency

摘要: A theoretical treatment is presented which attempts to quantify the benefits obtained by using smaller bubbles or larger particles in dispersed air flotation. The limited experimental data so far suggest that theory sound, particularly its prediction of effect bubble size.
