摘要: The aim of this report was to discuss a complication resulting from transconjunctival approach treating an orbital fracture. A 30-year-old male patient presented with fracture the zygomatic complex. He treated conventional surgical treatment. Two days after treatment, secondary chemosis which initially slight and then subsequently worsened. clinical situation managed topical systemic corticosteroids resolved within one postoperative month. Two-year follow-up showed ptosis upper eyelid limited infraversion in affected eye. This unusual associated trauma minor functional alterations, although consequences observed 2 years were not completely satisfactory.
