摘要: Background: Ovarian carcinoma metastases occur when the malignant cells establish new colonies on peritoneal surface. This study was undertaken to determine whether mesothelial cell hyaluronan affects tumor motility. Materials and Methods: Four ovarian lines (UCI 101, UCI 107, OC 222 NIH:OVCAR-3) were allowed migrate toward cultures of different concentrations hyaluronan. Mesothelial production in presence assayed. Results: The showed greater motility than controls, but increased abolished by hyaluronidase. Co-cultures produced up twice as much alone. Purified induced dose-dependent chemotactic all lines. Conclusion: These results are evidence that is a potential paracrine factor for carcinoma. cavity may encourage establishment metastases.
