Repairing skin lacerations: does sterile technique matter?

摘要: Patients with uncomplicated skin lacerations who attended a rural family-practice clinic were randomly assigned to have their cut repaired using either full sterile technique or surgically-clean technique. No significant differences found in the rate of healing incidence complications. It was concluded that is not needed repair simple lacerations, and suture surgically clean would save both time money.
