摘要: During the five and one-third years between January 1936 May 1, 1941 there were admitted to Queensboro Contagious Pavilion 29 patients with encephalitis which followed acute contagious diseases of childhood. In greatest number these, 20 (69 per cent), infection measles; in 4 (14 pertussis; mumps, 1 (3 chickenpox. Of complicating measles, 16 (80 cent) hospital within period less than three one-half months from Jan. 29, through 1941. This corresponded one increased incidence measles. ETIOLOGY Inasmuch as an appreciable instances measles are not reported, can only speculate on a complication this disease. Neal has stated that before epidemic made its appearance
