The Spatial and Mechanism Difference in the Export Evolution of Product Space in Global Countries

摘要: This study focuses on investigating the changing export patterns, evolution characteristics, and influencing trade mechanisms of countries a global scale. Based comprehensive customs data, our found that core location types, including machinery chemical products, both play positive roles in promoting countries’ economic development. Developed are more likely to be at product space products. Countries’ R&D investment can affect types regardless their economy, while high education matters developed countries, FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) is critical developing countries. It indicates technological benefits created by human capital promote economy. Nevertheless, not able release strong knowledge spillover effects through systems, they relying introduction foreign bring new technology.
