摘要: Building Information Modeling (BIM) is an increasingly popular method for generating and managing facility information during the life cycle of a building, ranging from conceptualization, through design, construction its operational life. Organizations involved in Facility Management (FM) have opportunity to use BIM as knowledge repository document evolving support decisions made by managers facility. This paper demonstrates potential using develop algorithms that automate decision making FM applications. The utilizing analysis tool demonstrated scenario HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) system failure operating In case typical malfunction today, occupants record complaints ticketing database maintained organization. Upon receiving notification failure, inspectors visit location confirm reported failure. confirmation, review building plans specifications detailed plan action repair any components suspected damage. Based on action, inspect and, damage, appropriate components. These practices – currently implemented across industry are labor intensive, time consuming, often rely unreliable outdated information. To address these shortcomings, authors propose alternative methodology fault detection buildings. implement algorithm leverages complaint ticket data automates determine potentially damaged list develops inspectors. Finally, discuss advantages proposed well challenges implementing automated BIM-enabled processes industry.
