摘要: Abstract Black spruce sawdust, when treated batchwise, in accordance with the principles of gel degradation theory, dioxane: H2O:HCl (90:8:1.8 by volume) at various extents lignin solubilization, gave a series fractions. The undialyzed preparations, characterized Klason lignin, methoxy contents, microanalysis, and U.V. absorptivity, were found to be reasonably uniform composition. Gel permeation chromatography combination refractive index (RI) Low Angle Laser Light Scattering (LALLS) detection fractions that qualitatively resembled those obtained synthetic model polymer gels. In efforts quantitatively correlate molecular weights (M w) these lignins existing models, however, problems fluorescence, association recondensation encountered.
