摘要: Abstract In this study, we have investigated the adsorption processes of 1,2-dichloroethane (DCE) from aqueous solutions onto ZSM-5 and Y organophilic zeolites. The presence organic molecule in zeolite channel systems was revealed by X-ray structure analyses carried out using Rietveld method. Difference Fourier maps allowed us to determine exact location these DCE molecules, as well that water molecules inside extraframework sites. refinement clearly incorporation within selected zeolites, very good agreement with weight loss given TG saturation capacity determined isotherms. distances between oxygen atoms chlorine suggest different could be connected means hydrogen bonds through water, form DCE–water complexes, thus influencing trans – gauche conformational equilibrium. complexes causes variations unit cell parameters, remarkable framework deformations, indicating strongly controls diffusion materials.
