摘要: By utilizing an Epstein-Barr virus (EBV)-negative Burkitt's lymphoma line (BJAB) and several EBV-positive sub-lines derived from it by in vitro infection, has been shown previously that the presence of EBV genome this B cell is reversibly associated with deregulation MYC expression. Specifically, decline level transcripts observed EBV-negative BJAB as cells approach stationary phase growth abrogated virus. In studies described herein, mechanism EBV-converted was examined. It not changes rate transcription exons I, II or III approached growth. contrast, stability mRNA altered cells. half-life increased less than 36 to greater 70 min lines progressed early late exponential This alteration virus, since revertant did display increase addition, progression two EBV-immortalized lymphoblastoid normal human also prolongation MYC.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)
