摘要: Muscle functional magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is used to compare the relative involvement of different muscles recruited during exercise. The method relies on activity-induced increase in nuclear transverse relaxation time (T2) muscle water, which caused by osmotically driven shifts fluid into myofibrillar space. In addition whole recruitment, MRI may reveal changes motor unit organization disease.
