摘要: In a paper on “Polarised Rontgen Radiation,” the writer gave an account of experiments which demonstrated partial polarisation beam X-rays proceeding from antikathode X-ray focus-tube, and verified theory previously given production secondary in light substances. that it was shown radiation direction perpendicular to propagation primary certain substances placed should, according put forward, be plane polarised. From gases, however, not sufficiently intense produce tertiary measurable intensity, thus them verifiable. On other hand, though heavy metals were found emit sufficient intensity ionising power appreciable effects, these is more complex phenomenon, evidence expected upon them.
