摘要: We developed a method for measuring ethoxycoumarin deethylase (ECOD) activity using single Drosophila abdomen. The activities obtained were well correlated with the classic from microsomes (r = 0.902). This new method, performed in microtitration plates, was at least six times more sensitive compared to conventional cuvet fluorometric one. Moreover, it possible among large number of insects differentiate those low or high ECOD activities. improved procedure has been checked upon crosses between resistant strain (with activity) and susceptible activity). results demonstrate separation phenotypes emphasize importance this approach assessing spreading insecticide resistance natural populations insects.
