摘要: Objectives The purpose of this exploratory, retrospective, and correlational study was to examine the relationships between childhood treatment experiences, parental care, social support, outcome in adults with different diverse sex development (DSD). Methods data 69 participants from an exploratory questionnaire were collected a retrospective German study. Results majority received medical relation their DSD during adolescence. Seventy percent reported having had best friend 29% confidant childhood. Sixty-one showed clinically relevant psychological distress, 45% suicidal thoughts at least one point lives. Quality care correlated positively adult outcome, whereas experiences aspects impaired adjustment. Conclusions Social support DSD-related appear have impact on well-being. Appropriate psychosocial including peer-to-peer should be made available children families.
