摘要: A preform cutting element for a rotary drill bit includes layer of polycrystalline diamond material, the rear face which is bonded to front backing less hard such as tungsten carbide. The substantially greater in area than layer. method manufacturing elements comprises forming an intermediate structure comprising material between two outer layers carbide, and then provide pieces, each pieces including part at least major respective one layers.
