摘要: Familial Mediterranean Fever (FMF) is an inherited autoinflammatory disease. One of the feared complications FMF, amyloidosis often correlated with increased mortality rate. The severity disease linked different mutations in MEFV gene that may favor outcomes (amyloidosis, Bechet’s disease…). Although several countries worldwide contribute remarkably to research related Arab make up only a small part this contribution. This study aims estimate numerically contribution world conducted on FMF. PubMed used quantitate number FMF-related articles published by each country from 2004 till 2019. retrieved numbers are normalized respect country’s average population and Gross Domestic Product (GDP) also compared those some non-Arab having high FMF prevalence. In comparison countries, has minor 3.80% total publications, faced 24.93% solely Turkey. Out done constitute no more than 0.133%. When against population, Tunisia ranks first, followed Lebanon. Similarly, normalizing GDP shows Lebanon come first second, respectively. Only 8 13 concerning which makes 4.7% Arabic articles. reflects undoubtable need for be suffer greatly immense shortage productivity, due many obstacles limitations these face every day.
