摘要: This paper presents a new approach combining multi-representation databases with the generalisation and update process. It leads to tightly integrated model, which is implemented as part of existing cartographic GIS axpand. The based on mathematical concept relations and, in particular, three different types relations: intra-resolution, inter-resolution up-date. Intra-resolution allow representation relationships between features within one resolution. Examples are partitions, neighbourhood topology. relation represents relationship resolutions. originates from or matching describes temporal changes features. After detailed theory about introduced continues discussion their similarities differences focus implementation database. Finally some exemplary results model presented.
