摘要: The curing properties and adhesive strengths of the epoxidized natural rubber (ENR, 25 mole percent epoxidation) modified epoxy systems are studied with differential thermal calorimetry (DSC), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), lap shear strength (LSS) measurement. results DSC analyses indicate that exotherm, rate, reaction order, glass transition temperature system affected by presence reactive ENR. From SEM micrographs, it is obtained a second spherical phase formed during cure particle size increased increasing ENR content. changes volume fraction Tg cured mutual dissolution between resin happens which LSS joints prepared adhesives all lower than those unmodified system, decrease amount added because limited compatibility matrix.
