摘要: Metered dose inhalers (MDI) and multidose powder (MPDI) are commonly used for the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases asthma. Currently, analytical tools to monitor particle/particle particle/surface interaction within MDI MPDI at macro-scale do not exist. A simple tool capable measuring such interactions would ultimately enable quality control MDPI, producing remarkable benefits pharmaceutical industry users inhalers. In this paper, we have investigated whether a quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) could become tool. QCM was measure on macroscale, by additions small amounts MDPI components, in form into gas stream. The subsequent with materials surface sensor were analyzed. Following this, fluticasone propionate, typical active ingredient, pressurized system assess its different surfaces under conditions mimicking manufacturing process. both types experiments discriminating components surfaces. results demonstrated that is suitable platform monitoring possibly
