摘要: Males of Apodemus flavicollis (Melchior) and A. sylvaticus (L.) were given a choice between grassland beech-wood habitat. Newly caught animals tested alone or together in three types enclosures ranging from small indoor to large outdoor pens. Distributions recorded by direct observation, automatically an event recorder, trapping. Interactions other behavioural traits relevant habitat selection studied. In all enclosures, the relative distribution pattern two species was such that occurred about as much both habitats, whereas more grassland. also active novel environment showed stronger tendency climb. interspecific encounters this clearly dominated sylvaticus, generally passive way. It less aggressive intraspecific than sylvaticus. The presence inhibited activity increased its occurrence When tended segregate vertically.
