摘要: Neurotensin, a tridecapeptide, is distributed in wide range of tissues and exhibits multiple functions through its receptors. Hitherto molecular characterization the neurotensin receptor has been reported mammalian, amphibian, fish species but not avian species. In this study, we cloned cDNA encoding chicken from duodenum characterized primary structure, biological activity distribution gastrointestinal tract. The encoded protein consisting 399 amino acids that had significant overall sequence homology to other vertebrate 1 with higher extent seven transmembrane domains. Chicken increased intracellular Ca(2+) concentrations human embryonic kidney 293 cells transiently expressing 1. Real-time PCR analysis showed mRNA expressed throughout tract markedly level colon/rectum. These results indicate involved an signaling pathway accompanied by increase levels.
