摘要: The Mercury Chloride Film Anode (MCFA) is proposed as a new working anode which compares favorably with platinum or other inert metal electrodes. Only organic compounds have been oxidized thus far at the MCFA. Since oxidation of molecules considerable interest this not serious limitation. use electrode restricted to pH's less than 5. This, coupled interferences high concentrations certain anions like iodide, phosphate, and sulfate, represent most restrictions MCFA's analytical usage. A further interesting possibility its cathode in solutions containing both reducible oxidizable species.
