摘要: The aim of this 2-group study was to investigate the following question: Are there significant differences between scaffolded design-based learning controlled using 7 forms and teacher-directed instruction methods for toy crane project on grade students’ posttest scores simple machines achievement test, attitude toward machines, creativity in after adjusting their respective pretest prior semester science grades? group (N = 65) consisted students public middle schools Burdur, Turkey. There were treatment effects favoring first method with large effect sizes both creative scores. Teaching topics about increased without disadvantaging topic as they constructed new knowledge through each step precise process.
