摘要: Abstract Analysis of the correlations between size and chemical composition lipoproteins normolipidemic human plasma shows that structure all circulating is consistent with a spherical model radius r in which liquid core cholesterol esters triglycerides = --20.2 A surrounded by monolayer phospholipids closely hydrophobic ends on surface core. The average molecular areas at this inner are Spl 68.5 A2/molecule for Sc= 39.1 cholesterol. proteins packed hydrophilic head groups outer particle, S' pl 62.7 Saa 15.6 A2/amino acid proteins. polar group free does not participate packing layer thus must be masked Free distributed among lipoproteins--with exception very high density lipoprotein perhaps chylomicrons--according to thermodynamic equilibrium governed curvature particle.
