Employees' use of social media technologies: a methodological and thematic review

摘要: With the ubiquity of social media in all aspects daily life, research interest topic has been on rise. Within existing body these tools, part literature focuses use technologies by employees. This article employs a systematic review methodology, with objective identifying main methodologies and themes employees' usage technologies. A total 66 articles were included this review, covering five major themes, that is, legal policies, human resources management, knowledge management sharing, learning, communication. In terms methodological choices, employees is found to be fragmented need further quantitative studies, mixed-methods approaches, theory-based research. Suggestions for future are provided based both thematic considerations.
