摘要: The main heat sources of the are cathode root ion impact and neutralization heating at surface Joule (resistance) in volume cathode. ratio IIji between these two components power supply is investigated, it depends only on J/a (spot current divided by spot radius). In case Cu cathodes both equal if = 9.17A/μm, their contributions to increase temperature 10.25 A/μm. This holds approximately even electron emission cooling taken into account (by inclusion supply). real (non-stationary) arc influence resistive rather low (between 0.1 1 percent total clean surfaces), with exception explosive processes, where generation comparable or superior processes possibly (Nottingham effect). time average component relative input role such essentially non-stationary regime. An estimate this IIj,ie basing theoretical investigations experimental experiences results 0.01 ≲ 1.
