摘要: Patients with head and neck cancer frequently develop problems food intake malnutrition. A common cause is non-neoplastic stricture of the proximal esophagus after radiotherapy. The known to be particularly radiosensitive; radiation-induced injury usually occurs at doses greater than 60 Gy in about 3.4% patientswithheadandneckcanceratamedianof6months completion 1 Radiation-induced strictures are amenable a single or repeated endoscopic dilation. 2,3 Complete obliteration esophagus, however, poses challenge. This report describes first successful recanalization completely obstructed radiotherapy by using an rendezvous maneuver.
