摘要: The purpose of this study is to compare the efficacy and safety one-site two-site combined phacotrabeculectomy with foldable posterior chamber intraocular lens implantation.Thirty-four patients (41 eyes) glaucoma cataract were randomly assigned undergo either a (22 or (19 procedure. One-site approach consisted standard superior limbus-based conjunctival flap, while clear cornea phacoemulsification separate trabeculectomy flap.Mean follow-up period was 54 months (standard deviation [SD] 2.3). Mean preoperative pressure (IOP) in group 21.3 mmHg (SD 2.8) 21.8 3.0) (P>0.1). postoperative IOP significantly decreased both groups compared level 15.6 3.5) 14.9 2.7) group. Three later, difference between two not statistically significant (P=0.058). required more medications than (P=0.03). Best-corrected visual acuity (BCVA) improved similarly groups, but there less (induced) astigmatism marginal statistical Intra- complications comparable groups. Both techniques yielded similar results concerning final BCVA reduction. However, had induced better control antiglaucoma
