摘要: Ten long-chain saturated and unsaturated alcohols were reacted with the ionic species [C(2) H(2) N](+) [C(3) H(4) generated by ionization of acetonitrile into an ion trap. The mass spectra compounds under investigation show formation [M -H](+), + C(2) ions in case alcohols, whereas for monounsaturated polyunsaturated derivatives additional peaks corresponding to H](+) H -H(2) O](+) are observed. reaction mechanisms investigated means D- (13)C-labelled acetonitrile. Collisional experiments performed on C(3) from order identify any possibly diagnostic fragments identification double bond positions. Copyright 1999 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
