Data was collected through medical records these admitted to RESULTS: The included 323 mean 1,161 (± 231 g), between 24 36.5 weeks, BPD incidence 17.6%. Among the NBs developing BPD, days using invasive mechanical ventilation (IMV), non-invasive (NIMV), supplemental oxygen 17.6, 16.2, 46.1 days, respectively, time significantly longer for those (p < 0.001). occurred more often patent ductus arteriosus (PDA). CONCLUSION: this similar that found literature. No association infection antenatal corticosteroid use found. receiving exogenous surfactant had higher because they BW GA. Concomitant occurrence PDA is associated staying on IMV, NIMV
