摘要: Umbelliferones (7-hydroxycoumarines) having phenyl-, ethoxycarbonyl-, cyano- or benzothiazolyl substituents in 3-position are excellent and water soluble laser dyes, emitting the 440 to 525 nm region, when pumped with a frequency tripledQ-switch Nd3+-laser. In carefully adjusted slightly alkaline aqueous solutions, wherein dyes readily soluble, particular good lasing performance is observed without any photodecomposion of coumarin.
