摘要: CCDS (color-coded Doppler sonography — also referred to as color ultrasound or CDU) is a combined modality offering blood flow information superimposed on gray scale picture. Areas within the image which contain flowing (or other moving vibrating tissue particles potential source of artifact) are assigned color-overlay based number parameters including direction flow, mean velocity, and velocity variance (which can be an indicator turbulence). Flow toward transducer generally encoded red, away from probe blue. As increases becomes lighter in shade; this often “color fading” “decreased saturation” (Figs. 2, 3). Many instruments allow introduction additional (often green orange) areas where marked variation encountered (Fig. 9); help visually “flag” regions turbulent just distal area stenosis.
