摘要: Pig production is one of the most important agricultural sub-sectors in Republic Macedonia, with a long tradition and constant level consumption. Starting from farms, livestock sold on market for consumption as fresh pork use processing industry slaughterhouses meat different products. In recent years country has experienced continuous decline number pig farms supply. There are many reasons this: high feed costs, small land area available production, traditional technology equipment used to perform activities, lack education farmers increased utilization inputs production. In order increase profitability be more competitive market, farmer focus efficiency sustainability sector. This study aims analyse (technical) activities Macedonia. The empirical approach based collecting quantitative data through questionnaire establishing direct interviews farmers. farm analysed by using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) model. It estimates technical where produced outputs main subjects analysis. give explanation input-oriented output-oriented perspectives comparing larger smaller country. The results show difference between variable return scale. Technical aspect scale always lower average 75%. According scale, input perspective 90%, output 87%. The ratio gives efficiency. However, does not depend input-output relationship only, but also, environmental manager factors influence it well. Accordingly, there big terms location, accessibility size economic yard. managers depends new that positively influences obtained piglets per sow, decrease mortality kilogram growth.
