摘要: OBJECTIVE To investigate the causes for failed anterior cervical surgery and outcomes of secondary laminoplasty. METHODS Seventeen patients multilevel following conservative treatments between Feb 2003 May 2011 underwent Outcomes were evaluated by Japanese Orthopaedic Association (JOA) Scale visual analogue scale (VAS) before surgery, at 1 week, 2 months, 6 final visit. Cervical alignment, revision complications also assessed. RESULTS With a mean follow-up 29.7±12.1 JOA score, recovery rate excellent to good improved significantly months (p 0.05). Mean VAS score decreased postoperatively The inappropriate approach in 3 patients, insufficient decompression 4 adjacent degeneration disease progression 8 patients. Complications included one case C5 palsy, axial pain cerebrospinal fluid leakage, respectively. CONCLUSION Laminoplasty has satisfactory results with low incidence complications.
