摘要: Attributions modulate the impact of stressful events on mental health. However, little is known about attributions for discriminatory and their relationship to psychosocial outcomes in sexual minority individuals. Relationships were examined between gay men’s discrimination satisfaction with social support, a variable critical health this population. Gay men (N = 307) completed online measures events, key stress constructs. Self blaming associated decreased independent frequency which participants reported experiencing discrimination. The link self support was partially mediated by latent affective construct comprised anxiety, depression, low positive affect. A moderation effect also found, such that perceived dissatisfaction amplified reporting more blame toward perpetrators Results as valuable additions models.
