In first experiment, participants judged varying shapes, derived from a statistical 3D model. Based these ratings, we determined three shapes (weak, average, strong) animated them with set poses second experiment. Participants rated how strong or powerful they perceived characters that were displayed in different poses. Our results show was mainly driven by body. However, attribute influenced an interaction between shape. Specifically, effect ratings greater weak shapes. These demonstrate character can be as more when high-power pose.
