摘要: N-hydroxyethyl-3-alkyloxypyridinium amphiphiles have been synthesized and characterized by various spectroscopic techniques. Self-assembling properties of these studied surface tension, conductivity, fluorescence measurements. Basic micellization parameters like critical micelle concentration (cmc), tension at the cmc (γ cmc), adsorption efficiency (pC20), effectiveness reduction (Π maximum excess (Γ max) minimum area/molecule (A min), Gibbs free energy (ΔG0 mic) also determined. The 3-alkyloxypyridinium halides in aqueous phase found to be exothermic entropy-driven as assessed conductivity measurements different temperatures. Thermal degradation surfactants has thermal gravimetric analysis under nitrogen atmosphere. Further, 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT) assay on C6 glioma cells show them less toxic than conventional cationic surfactants.
