摘要: SUMMARY The total current between the tip and sample in a scanning tunnelling microscopy study of solid/liquid interface can be dominated by Faradaic charge transfer currents. In such situation, feedback control gap, imaging, is precluded. this contribution we describe preparation glass polymer coated STM tips that possess < 100 A2 exposed metal. These effectively discriminate against enable imaging presence reversible electroactive solution species at appreciable tip/sample biases.
